Job board & learning center for ethereum developers
What is included in the sale ?
EthHole domain, all the databases with jobs list that I made manually (50+ locations), access to the service I used to generate the site.
What is the technological stack ?
Built with a service to generate sites from Airtable data with no code. this is a completely no code project, so you dont need to be a developer to operate it at all.
Mostly built on airtable. Jobs are inputted manually into a table, i will show you how, its pretty easy.
Which parts of the project are incomplete ?
Jobs havent been updated since early November. I never did any marketing towards companies to pay to post jobs there, but 1 company paid $500 to post one after I launched.
Do you have any traffic ?
About ~500+ clicks a month when promoting it on reddit/r/ethdev, server ethereum community slack channels, a few discords for developers like once a week. I made the learning resource sections to add more value and get people in the door. Considering adding a forum or something.
Why are you selling ?
Finally got a full time job after being unemployed for 6 months. I havent had time to update the jobs on it in 2 months, so I'd rather sell it than let it just fade by not being updated often enough to be useful. make me a fair offer and we can talk.
How can the future owner turn the project into a business ?
Add some more learning resources. start a community for devs on slack or telegram. Maybe a forum or something to get people chatting and learning. You could use it to promote developer tutorials or sell classes even. I've made a big list of the best companies hiring there so if the listed companies open any more positions you could ask them for a fee to post their job openings on the Eth Hole.
How are you are sourcing these jobs - are they from reaching out to co's, or are they from scraping various websites?
This initial list is a little over 50 jobs I think, and I did them all manually. There is a template that I put them into a spreadsheet in airtable, and then the site uses Airtable as a backend database, so you dont need code to add more. No scripts or anything, I haven't reached out to the companies. Although a few have liked posts I made or thanked me for added their job postings.
